Updates and known issues.

Use the same installation channel that supplied your phone app. Follow its update instructions, then open Help → App version to check the installed version and build. Updates for the Garmin data field are delivered through Connect IQ.

Release information applies to the version available through that channel. An update is listed as released only after it is available there.

October 16, 2026: reports of workout time or distance stopping during some workouts remain under investigation. Corrected candidates are being validated; this page does not announce their release.

Keep the watch recording, reopen Motion Relay and check the selected watch and connection. Include the app version, watch and phone models, activity and approximate time in a support report. Do not restart a workout solely to refresh a reading.

Charts contain the observations received by the phone; an interrupted interval can remain a gap. See support for reporting instructions.
