Request deletion in the app
If you still have authenticated access, open Motion Relay account settings and choose the account-deletion action. On iPhone it is labelled “Delete Motion Relay account.” Confirm the action and wait for the service’s confirmation or receipt. An offline or failed request is not completed deletion.
The account-deletion request targets linked account, nickname, membership, entitlement, consent and completed-summary records. It also needs to revoke associated access. Do not treat a disconnect message as proof that all records were deleted.
If you no longer have app access
Email the business contact with the subject “Motion Relay membership deletion.” Describe the access problem without including passwords, bearer tokens, invitation codes, payment receipts, raw watch packets or private health readings.
A nickname, approximate registration date or email alone does not prove account ownership. Recovery for users without an authenticated app is limited, and we may be unable to verify ownership. We will not delete someone’s account based only on an unverified email. There is no guaranteed completion time for an unverified request.

Data and services with separate controls
Stopping sharing stops new uploads; it does not erase an assistant conversation. Turning off compact backup stops future backup, not earlier summaries. The planned complete phone-local workout store is not part of this preview and is not covered by a working local deletion control today.
Garmin activity records, Apple/Google store records and ChatGPT/OpenAI conversation or account history must be managed through those services. Cancel a store subscription separately. Provider backups, security records and support communications have separate retention controls; do not assume uninstalling the phone app erases them.
Questions and confirmation
Keep the deletion receipt if the app provides one. Contact support if the request fails or remains pending. Do not send the account credential to support.
