The preview service
Motion Relay receives compatible activity measurements and, when you allow sharing, makes eligible readings available to an assistant you separately authorize. Availability depends on your watch, sensors, phone, permissions, network and independent services.
The preview can contain errors, gaps and interruptions. Readings and assistant responses may be inaccurate, stale, incomplete or unavailable. Check your source device and use independent judgment. A successful connection does not guarantee continuous background delivery.
A complete phone-local current or last workout saved across restarts is planned, not part of this preview. Optional compact completed-activity backup, where offered with separate consent, is a different feature. Neither replaces Garmin’s activity record.
Fitness and safety
Motion Relay is informational fitness software. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring, navigation or rescue. Do not use it to decide whether emergency care is needed. Stop activity and seek appropriate help for an emergency or alarming symptoms.
Choose activity appropriate to your condition and surroundings. Follow traffic, trail and facility rules. Use phones and headphones only when safe. Automated interpretations do not replace attention to your surroundings or qualified professional advice.
Accounts and acceptable use
Use only accounts and devices you are authorized to access. Do not share credentials, access another person’s data, bypass access controls or interfere with the service. Revoke access for a lost or transferred device. Account requests require ownership verification.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service. Preview features may change or become unavailable.
Sharing, backup and independent services
Assistant sharing, optional Apple Health access and compact completed-activity backup are separate choices. Read the privacy policy for their data boundaries. Garmin, Apple, Google and OpenAI/ChatGPT have their own terms and controls. Your assistant account history is outside Motion Relay’s deletion controls.

Paid features
These terms do not activate a subscription or the in-app coach. Any future paid offering must show its features, price, renewal and cancellation terms before purchase. If you have a subscription through an app store, manage cancellation through that store; deleting Motion Relay does not itself cancel the subscription.
Stopping use and deleting an account
You can stop using Motion Relay or stop sharing. Use the deletion page for account and data requests. Disconnecting a device, uninstalling the app and deleting an account are different actions.
